Celebrations post World War I.  Our picture shows: top left, celebrations after the end of World War I; middle, the national strike in 1926 when volunteers drove the buses and goods depots were set up in Hyde Park with lorries bringing supplies led by an armoured car as a precaution; top right, strip housing development along roads, which was in due course, forbidden by Act of Parliament; and hiking.
