Celebrations of Wellington's victory at the battle of Salamanca: Sir Francis Burdett's house is attacked, a funeral procession of Whigs passes by, and a toast is drunk to Wellington by England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. In the left foreground are two figures, male and female, representing Discord or Faction: the female falls upon a flaming torch, while the male has dropped a lantern.
