A medical offering (?): Aesculapius, Telesphorus and Hygieia watch the presentation of exotic plants and serpentine lore to a woman representing Knowledge (?). Engraving, 1660/1680. Above, cherubim hold a coat of arms with the motto of the Academia Naturae Curiosorum, "Nunquam otiosus" (never idle). The woman receiving the gift holds a geometrical instrument and has epigraph "Rer[um] magistra" (mistress of the world). One of the putti bringing exotic plants has an American headdress.
