Layette Cupboard

This cupboard was almost certainly made in the same workshop as the other example in this gallery. It features the same contrast between the rectangular cabinet and its auricular stand. In this case the kwab motifs are combined with naturalistic elements: angel’s heads and swags of flowers. This example was probably made a little later than the other one. Origin: ? Amsterdam. Date: c 1660 – c 1670. Object ID: BK-1985-10.
