Charger
Active selection in cart:
Caption | The Chinese decorations on this large dish, or charger, are typical of Delftware from the second half of the 17th century. The addition of purple, using manganese pigment, was a new development, however. The painter made optimum use of the two colours in the rendering of the trees and clothing. Origin: Delft. Date: c 1680 – c 1685. Object ID: BK-1986-16. |
