Brown tooled leather hood shaped to fit the head of a falcon. The sides are decorated with panels of rose red velvet embroidered with silver metallic yarns and faceted metal beads. At the top, a tassel of rose red silk is bound in silver metallic yarn. The edges are bound with green silk braid. With leather tabs for fastening. Made in: England or France. Date: 1600s.
