Even foreigners, such as the Norwegian Professor Steffens in Breslau, were swept along by the raging wave of the German uprising. In fiery speeches, Steffens called on his listeners to join the ranks of the freedom fighters. Professor Steffens begeistert seine Zuhörer für den Freiheitskrieg. 8. Februar 1813. (Gemälde von Kampf.) Von der aufbrausenden Woge der deutschen Erhebung wurden selbst Ausländer, wie der norwegische Professor Steffens in Breslau, mitgerissen. In feurigen Reden forderte Steffens seine Hörer auf, sich in die Schar der Freiheitskämpfer einreihen zu lassen.
