Ci e caro riportare, in quest'occasione, una pagina del pittore Achille Beltrame. Illustra uno dei piu luminosi episodi del titanico scontro. Le batterie del 50° reggimento artiglieria da campagna, circondate sul Colle Moschin, si opposero al nemico su un'unica linea, nella quale, a lato dei cannoni, artiglieri e fanti gareggiarono in bravura.
