| Caption | La fine di un grande transatlantico. Una squadriglia di Stukas ha sorpreso nelle acque dell'Irlanda settentrionale il transatlantico inglese Empress of Britain. Attaccato in picchiata, il piroscafo e stato colpito da numerose bombe e si e incendiato, mentre l'equipaggio lo abbandonava. Piu tardi un sommergibile affondava definitivamente con un siluro il fumante relitto. L'Empress of Britain stazzava 42.348 tonnellate e dopo la Queen Mary era il piu grande transatlantico inglese.
