Un'aquila reale, piombata sopra un grosso cane, in un villaggio svedese, tentava di risollevarsi a volo con la preda vivente, ma non vi riusciva e non poteva piu staccare gli artigli conficcati ad uncino nel dorso della vittima. Il cane infatti fuggiva disperatamente trascinandosi dietro il pericoloso fardello, e giungeva cosi fin presso la casa del padrone che, accorso, uccideva il rapace.
