Caption | Oliver Lodge, a British scientist, developed the theory of "tuning" which gave a radio station a certain wavelength. He achieved this "tuning" in both the transmitter and receiver with an adjustable coil. Lodge had six sons and six daughters. Several of them went into businesses based on his inventions, which included the spark plug. |
