Caption | In 1918 Paris was shelled by a gun which was 67 miles away! It fired a shell 3 feet long that weighed 265 pounds. It was called the Kaiser Wilhelm gun. The Germans also called this formidable artillery piece the Paris Gun. It was not a very accurate weapon, but it was certainly intimidating. |
