Wren

Active selection in cart:
Wren, this British bird used to appear on the back of the farthing until the coin was withdrawn in 1960. The farthing was a coin with a value of one quarter of an old penny. The wren was pictured on it from 1936 to 1960. It was probably chosen because the farthing was Britain's smallest coin and the wren was one of Britain's smallest birds.
