Caption | Buses without horses. One of a pair of buses powered by four-cyclinder, 12 hp Camstatt-Daimler engines operated by the Motor Traction Co Ltd from October 1899 to December 1900. They were 26-seater double deckers with steel tyres. The service ran from Kennington Gate over Westminster Bridge to Victoria. It later went to Whitehall and Oxford Circus. |
