Caption | Terror at Ticonderoga. The Highlanders charged forward, trying to hack a path through the dense maze of brushwood with their claymores. But it was useless. The French poured down a withering fire and most of the soldiers died with their wild battle cries still on their lips. Original artwork for the illustration of p44 of Look and Learn no. 596 (16 June 1973). |
