Edward VI and The Earl of Somerset. Seeing that the nobles were determined to remove him from a position of power, the Earl of Somerset rode to Windsor, taking the young king with him. But he was purseud there by some of the disaffected nobles, who complained to Edward about his conduct. Somerset was arrested and taken to the Tower of London.
