Great Fire of London
Active selection in cart:
Caption | Great Fire of London. Rain fell on London on 9th September, and cooled the hot City, but fires still lingered in cellars and were kindled again when the doors were opened and fresh air blew in. People were wary of walking through the ruins especially at night for they were hideouts for robbers. Original artwork for illustration on p33 of Look and Learn issue no 245 (24 September 1966). |
