Pourquoi Pas?
Active selection in cart:
Caption | Pourquoi Pas? Jean Charcot had a flourishing medical practice in a fashionable part of Paris. Why then, did he choose to give it all up to risk his life, year after year, in search of adventure in a ship which was to become as famous as himself? After 28 years of outstanding service, the Pourquois Pas? was dashed to pieces on the rocks in the Bay of Reykjavik. Original artwork for illustration on pp6–7 of Look and Learn issue no 759 (31 July 1976). |
