Nutty Noddle
Nutty Noddle is a red squirrel who lives in a small cottage in a tree deep the heart of Greenwood Forest (although he later builds a house on the ground after he grows tired carrying his shopping all the way up into the tree). Nutty is aptly named – as the story explains "our little friend is full of the queerest ideas and is always dashing about." Nutty is forgetful and easily distracted which usually means he is chasing around trying to catch up with everything he has not done. His best friend is Oswald Owl who tries to keep Nutty on the straight and narrow… but he rarely succeeds.
