The Little Friends of Frances Pitt

The little friends of Frances Pitt are the creatures of the countryside, everything from weasels to squirrels to the water shrew. Each episode related a little about the creature in question, beautifully illustrated by well known wildlife artist Harry Pettit.

Pitt (1888-1964, a naturalist well known in the 1950s for his books about country life) signed each week's episode but never appeared himself.
