The themes for January’s kids art competitions are “Portrait of Barack Obama” and “Smile”. The closing date for both competitions is 9 February 2009.
The picture above – which was more famous a hundred years ago than it is now – is “Smile” by the English artist Thomas Webster (1800-86).
