Prince Edward riding from Ludlow to London

On the day that was originally arranged for his coronation, Prince Edward was still riding from Ludlow to London. He was 12 when, in April 1483, his father died. Soon after he arrived in London he and his brother, the Duke of York, disappeared from the Tower of London. From Look and Learn 933 (8 December 1979).
