Original artwork

When we purchased the rights to Look and Learn and the other magazines from IPC Media, we acquired a portion of the original artwork (ie the original paintings and drawings on watercolour boards). Since then we have made further substantial purchases of artwork through dealers with the result that we now have the originals for several thousand illustrations. This means that, in many cases, it is now possible for us to reproduce the illustrations better than was the case in the original magazines.

We are interested in purchasing more of the original artwork (but not copies of the original magazines of which we have comprehensive collections). We are also keen to borrow and scan fine examples of original artwork from collectors in order to improve the quality of our digital archive.
