Enter children’s art
- Free international children’s art gallery and competitions
- Open to teachers and families, for any number of children aged 0-18
- Personal art galleries (of up to 1,000 pictures per child)
- Free-to-enter monthly competitions with prizes totalling £690 (approx US$ 1,380), plus other special contests for teachers and parents/guardians with generous cash prizes.
- Pictures can be sent as free e-cards or ordered as postcards etc
How to enter
A parent/guardian, teacher, or child (aged 12+) just needs to:
- Register or, if already registered with Look and Learn, log in.
- Enrol any number of children.
- Upload a scan/photograph of each picture.
Art gallery
Monthly themed prize competitions for children
- A new competition every month on a stimulating theme
- Entries automatically included in each child’s personal gallery
- Free personalised participation certificates for all entrants
- Entries divided into three age groups (0-7, 8-11 and 12-18)
- Nine prizes totalling £240 (US$480), plus printed certificates for winners
Monthly prize competitions for children and teachers/parents
- A new competition every month for the best additions to a personal gallery
- Three prizes totalling £450 (US$900) divided equally between children and their sponsors
Prizes for parents and teachers who refer the most pictures
Refer friends and colleagues to the Look and Learn children's art gallery using your personal referral link (see your Art Entry Centre home page when you log in or register) and you could win one of three cash prizes totalling £225 (approx US$450). The prizes will go to the three people responsible for the greatest number of art entries submitted before the end of September 2008 by parents, teachers and children (aged 12+) they refer to the Look and Learn art gallery.
Invitation and advice to teachers
We very much hope that as many art teachers as possible from around the world will wish to participate. As a teacher you can enrol any number of children and each of them will be assigned a unique link to their own personal gallery. You too will be assigned a unique link to a gallery of all the pictures submitted by children you enrol. You could include this link on your own or your school's website.
The only identifying information we show on the web site is the child's name, but if for any reason that might be inappropriate, please enrol him or her with an alias. If you need any assistance at any stage, please email or telephone us in the UK on +44 (0)20 7723 7732.
