Best gallery additions prize art competition
See the winners of the October 2008 competition.
Each month we look for the best new entries to a personal art gallery. To qualify, a child must enter at least six new non-competition pictures during a month (midnight to midnight GMT). There is no limit on the number of pictures that may be entered, but the judges focus on quality, variety and visual impact.
There are three prizes worth a total of £260 (approx US$430), which are shared equally between each winning entrant and their sponsor (their teacher or parent/guardian):

- An entrant must add at least six new pictures, in addition to any entries to monthly themed competitions, between the first and last days of a month (midnight to midnight GMT).
- The results of the competition will be announced by email within ten days of the end of the month.
- Parents/guardians are welcome to enroll children from their extended families, with the permission of the children’s actual parents/guardians.
